Cville Jazz Productions is a nonprofit based in Charlottesville, Virginia with a focus on spreading the culture and beauty of jazz through artist support and educational opportunities.
Keeping in mind Paula Scher's logo for the Lincoln Center, jazz is about being a little off kilter or being 'a square peg in a round hole'. This inspired the slight tilt in the saxophone J as well as the o in productions.
I also created a series of posters for CVille Jazz Productions. Jazz Tuesdays is hosted by CVille Jazz Productions. Jazz Tuesdays showcases a variety of jazz showcases at the Rapture Restaurant in Charlottesville, Virginia. For these events, a poster was needed to capture the essence of the performances and entice locals to join in on the fun!
